This provides an idea of the potential, prior to spending money on a more detailed study.
Only minimal information with accuracy limited on project costs and savings are provided.
No metering or logging equipment is installed in a Preliminary Audit.
Targeted audits
This type of audit provides a detailed analysis on focussed single purpose equipment that could also have resulted from a preliminary audit.
A breakdown is given of how energy is used within premises. Recommendations are given on operations and maintenance.
Potential capital-intensive opportunities are identified in the final report for further research and analysis.
This audit provides a detailed analysis of specific energy technologies. It does not provide an energy management plan, or cost to benefin analysis.
Comprehensive audits
This level audit provides a detailed energy project implementation plan for a facility, since it evaluates all major
energy using systems as well as quality of supply. This audit offers a more accurate estimate of energy savings and
cost. It considers the interactive effects of all major energy consuming equipment and details all cost savings
calculations.
Performing a a comprehensive audit, can be time and labour intensive, but will provide you with detailed information you need to save your organisation electricity costs.
